Aging with a Peaceful Spirit

3rd Annual  “Aging With a Peaceful Spirit”

Saturday, October 27   –   8:00am-1:00pm in the MPR   –   Mass in MPR @8:15am

                            Informative sessions on:

¨ Joint Health presented by an Ortho Team from Avera

¨ Medication/Supplement Safety by Avera Pharmacists

¨ Nutrition presented by a HyVee Dietitian

¨ Healthy Mind, Signs of Dementia and Solutions

Registration is $15/person – due by October 22 (lunch included with pre-registration)

Position Available

One weekend per month

Duties would include checking in liturgical ministers, recruiting any extras that may be needed and other duties during weekend Masses.   Call the office for more details.

Sign Up For Liturgical Ministers and Social Outreach Ministries

Sept. 22-23

Mass volunteers are scheduled only once a month.  Training is only one hour.

¨ Our greeters will hand out the volunteer cards so you can look them over before Mass.

¨ Complete the card and turn in at the Offertory  collection, or return the card next week. 

¨ All Volunteers set the times they are available. 

¨ Unless we hear from you, we assume you wish to continue in the ministries you currently serve. 

¨ Volunteer Cards will be available to complete any time after Sept. 22. 

¨ Various training dates for liturgical ministers begin in October.
