TO PROTECT
Safe
Environment Training
All volunteers at St. Michael, who have
contact with children or
vulnerable adults, must be trained every year.
Training is required every year for all
volunteers, staff, and clergy,
who work with children and/or vulnerable adults.
This year, we are able to offer an on-line option,
which you can complete at your
leisure in the comfort of your
own home!
And you can do it now
to fulfill the requirement for
the coming year.
FOR THOSE WORKING WITH CHILDREN:
Go
to the Safe and Sacred website
at http://safeandsacred-sfcatholic.org
If it is your
first time, you will create a user name and password for yourself.
Before you enter,
please read all the instructions on the page. You
must take the “Recognizing
Child Abuse” course.
If you took the
on-line training last year, you must login. (If you
forgot your user ID or
password, you can use the live
help option.)
This year you must take
the new
“Professional Behaviors
& Boundaries” course.
When you have successfully completed the training,
please submit a copy of your
certificate to Sylvia in the
parish office.
OR there is now a new option to
e-mail the certificate instead
of printing it. Send to sylvia@stmichaelsfsd.org
